Wouldn't start. Only had 3in left on dipstick. 16 quarts total after all of it was measured fully.

Lol.
It's almost like they were "pickling" the engine for long term storage.

Even more impressive.

I didn't know a civic could hold that much oil in the trunk, let alone the oil pan and block.

I would have found a naive new guy to watch for anything odd as I turned the engine over.

Once he got cleaned up I would have him begin calling parts stores to find a radiator for a 67 Beetle.

I just started working on 3 motors, an L24, L48 and a 71 Z28 350/330hp. The before pictures are pretty interesting and as soon as I get them torn down a little I'll post them for you...

Well fellas I managed to score a prototype Roush center cap horn button. There were two available one with a black background and one with a brushed background. I picked the brushed as I think it'd match the brushed aluminum in the cabin. Here it is:

I'll be installing it after the driver airbag recalls are done. Been busy at the shop and haven't had much spare time after work. Friend of mine will be taking the Roush to the dealer and I'll be in the GT. so we can knock them both out at once.
