Thanks. I hoping the cams will provide some gains, however small, through the rpm range, without sacrificing any torque. I’m not interested in comp cams or anything like that. I’m wanting the least amount of drive ability issues possible.
Which keeping the stockers would be better than these by that logic. Lol

Finally able to work on the engine today. As seen there’s metal debris on the cam mounts and cams themselves coming from the oil journals. After an inspection it doesn’t look like there’s an damage on the heads, valves, and pistons. But my machine shop will validate that once the engine is down there. The plan is to have the rotating assembly out of it next weekend. The following week I’ll have the engine and cobra cams down at the machine shop for inspection and repairs if needed. Cobra cams will also be properly degreed by them. Once the engine is down there I’ll start searching for a full intake system including the shaker system. I don’t have anything in front of the throttle body except what I’m assuming is the piece that channels in air to the filter housing.

I saw what appeared to be a complete shaker hood scoop (minus the hood) for sale on CL not long ago.
By the time I put together that I should purchase it, in speculation that you might possibly need one, which was the next morning about 8 hrs after seeing the ad... It was gone!

I’ll definitely need one for sure. I appreciate you considering buying it for me to buy from you.
Just a few things I’m wanting:
Stock radio (460?)
Factory Mach spoiler
Mach 1 door locks (I’m told they’re silver)
Factory Mach 1 wheels (1 or all 4, one has some curb rash on it)
Chin spoiler (might just get a new one, they’re cheap)
In case anyone wouldn’t mind checking their local CL’s or parts yards. I’m forgetting some stuff but that’s what I can think of off the top of my head.

This is what I will be working on tomorrow. You aren't the only lucky dog to work on very cool cars.

That is one nice ride. I owned a 56 Victoria that was my second car when my wife became pregnant with our daughter. That was 1969. Traded my 56 F100 Custom Cab with the small back window to a good friend because we thought the Vicky would be better for a baby. Miss both those cars terribly.

Nice Crown Vic!
That car looks perfect... What could possibly be wrong with it?

The shop that put the 5.0 on the car just stuck a cone filter on and it was making really terrible whistling/roaring noise...so I built a tube. Actually it's a mock up so I can built a one piece 3" aluminum tube. I should have taken before pictures although this is after. Yes, it is a very sweet car...and the ride is surprisingly good.
I along with the owner believe older Fords should be Ford under the hood!

I plan on having graphics on mine, keeping the stock rear bumper, and no black wheels. But everything else is spot on with my plans.

That will be a Kool looking ride. Thank you for not choosing blacked out wheels.

Yeah black wheels are played out in my opinion. I like chrome or brushed.
Factory Mach 1 hood decal, Mach 1 rocker panel stripe. Then black lower bumper insert, black mustang letter inserts and black license plate background insert.
Or option two, no inserts on the rear except maybe the Mustang letters and a blacked out Terminator spoiler. Keeps the blacked out rear spoiler the Mach 1’s came from the factory with.

It wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t windy. There’s about 4in of snow on the ground from yesterday with ice under it. Tues is supposed to get down to -4.
