I doubt it, if it starts acting up again, do the head gasket. It's not healthy for the engine to just keep throwing sealant in it. If it does start acting up, I would want to do a pressure check. If you need any additional info on the truck or any car I'm always here.

Ok, thought I'd give some updates on vehicles at our shop.
91 911 turbo. Came in with no brakes, fixed with a power steering pressure sensor. I still don't understand how it fixed it, but my boss is a Porsche guru. So I'm not doubting him.
76 F100. Forgot reason why it came. Fix shocks and struts replacement.
Porsche 917 replica. Returned today with generator issues and carb readjustments.
My 75 MGB. Has a fuel pressure issue. Ordered a new fuel pump (fifth one) and might have found the cause.
My 70 Challenger T/A. Waiting for my painter to give the ok before powertrain removal.
46 Willys Jeep. Still waiting on approval to post pictures. Came in for multiple fluid leaks. Better details when I get the approval to post pictures.
08 G35. Exhaust work. Owner requested to not have pictures taken of his car.
98 Mark VIII. Instrument cluster lights not working. Waiting to be worked on.
That's all I can think of for now. We've got over 50 cars on the lot and it's getting difficult to manage all of them. They're coming in faster than we can fix them.

TGR's garage/car shows and events...

Well fellas after fixing customer cars during the week it's now the weekend. That means time to work on my own cars, particularly the Impala.
Since all my pictures of my baby are mostly body shots, thought I'd get some interior and engine bay pictures. I'm taking the original starter off the car to have it rebuilt; it was causing issues all last year.

The wheels are dirty as you see. When I reinstall the starter the car will get a very good cleaning.
Anyway, I've had some people ask questions about the car, so here's some answers.
All the chrome trim (exterior and interior) are original and untouched. Everything on the engine is original besides the alternator (original was damaged beyond repair). It is a factory SS 4 speed manual trans. The color is the original color mist blue (not original paint). Drive train is original and untouched, 327 300HP 360ft lbs, Muncie 21 trans 12 bolt rear end. Interior is white with black carpet, console, and dash. The car is 90% original after most of the restoration was completed (still have a few things to do). That's about it I guess.

Yes they are. I'm the only one who has cragar thrust wheels in my town. Everyone else has the cragar classics or a different wheel. Which it came from the factory with hub caps.. I'm not a fan of them at all, and I wanted a wheel that had SS on it. So I got the these, they're 17in. I get a lot of complements on them.

83 Honda Accord. This is truly a time capsule car. 100% original, unrestored unmolested survivor, 71,XXX original miles. It came in with a brake light out, easy fix. Vehicle is a one owner, and vehicle was ordered from Japan and imported into the country. Pictures do not do this car justice, it is in unbelievable shape. Absolutely zero fade spots exterior and interior of the car. Car runs very smooth and very comfortable easy drive. Owner is a regular customer of ours and she is one of the nicest people I've ever met. Car is definitely in museum/show car condition. I'm amazed how well it is preserved. Awesome car.

It isn't my cup of tea, but it's a beautifully preserved car. I love that about it; I'm the type of person who gets irritated when people neglect their cars. It's just how I'm wired, that's why I said the things I said about that BMW. Now with animals it's on totally different level.

I agree, every time I see it, I'm just amazed. The car is just unbelievably preserved. My cars don't even look half as good as this. There's literally no discoloring of the interior. There's no fade in the paint. No blemishes in the dash, and zero cracks. It looks like it was built yesterday.

It's an older lady (in her 80s). They had a 79 thunderbird that had 20K miles in the same condition, sold it to a collector. Both were in great shape.

I honestly couldn't tell you yes or no. Being that you are comparing two different engines, it might lean towards no. Now if you can find an exhaust shop, you can modify the x pipe to fit on the car. We did it with a 11 5.0.

2011 Charger R/T. Came in with an exhaust rattle. After inspection it was determined that an internal muffler piece came loose. We cut the mid mounted mufflers off and welded in some pipe. Noise went away and owner (soldier) liked the better exhaust note. This the first charger of this body style I've seen up close and in person. The rest of them were either leaving the lot or I had things to do, so I couldn't look at them. Originally I didn't like the new chargers being 4 doors, they should've named it something else. After looking in the vehicle and around it, my opinion changed. It's a very nice car and it's worthy of the charger name. Now Chrysler needs to make a 2 door variant. I wasn't able to drive it, but I have a hunch I'd like it. So, now I'm waiting for a Hellcat to pull in our lot.

79 Midget convertible. This vehicle is in the concourse status. Everything is professionally restored to the highest quality possible. Vehicle came in for a check up from winter storage. We've done valve adjustments and carb tuning in it last year. One of the two nicest MGs in town, the other one is here and waiting to be posted. I personally haven't driven this car but from what I'm told it's impressive. As most might think it's British racing green (I did), it isn't the name I can't remember but owner states it isn't racing green. Car is in immaculate condition. Very beautiful car.

TGR's garage/car shows and events...

Part 2...
54 MGTF. Aka SHORTY, by the owner. The car is in phenomenal shape. It's on older concourse restoration (10+ years). Owner is a very good friend and is in love with our Porsche. This is the owner of the Z4 that was posted earlier in the thread. He also owns a 91 300ZX, that I'll get pictures of later. Ok back to the car. Shorty is a real 54 MGAF not a kit car or replica. We've worked on shorty for a long time. Some minor maintenance some major (engine rebuild). Ok now interesting info about the car. Shorty has a metal frame and body, but a wooden floor pan. I tried to get photos underneath to show the wood floor. Photos aren't very good as the car was raised about a foot off the ground. Better pictures will be posted soon. How to start shorty is turn the key on pull the choke knob on the dash 3 times push in and pull start knob. The one picture of a random chrome button looking thing on the body is actually a release button for the hood. There are 2 located on each side of the car. As shown in the pictures there is a storage compartment in the engine bay. The gas tank, as shown, is in the rear and strapped to the body. Engine displacement is... I forgot, but factory dual carb engine. This is all I can think of at the moment. I'll post more details later. If anyone has a request or a certain section they'd like to see let me know and I'll post them, asap.

I do too, very nice car. The interior is miles ahead of the 11 mustang. Then again interior doesn't really matter to me all that much.

TGR's garage/car shows and events...

Got a few pictures of shorty. Found out the issues, I forgot to mention one of them in the "part 2" post. Both axels are making noise and after inspection they will need to be replaced. The oil leak looks like it's from the oil pan. We cleaned it and he'll drive it for a few days. And he'll come back for another inspection on the oil leak issue.
