Last warning, criticize my customer's cars your post will be deleted. If you don't like it, then keep it to yourself. That goes for everyone. And FYI that is a really nice car, even if the modifications aren't our tastes.

Now that that's out of the way.
Update!
Challenger progress...
Trans removed along with shifter
Clutch and flywheel are off the car
Bell housing was put back in for engine balancing
Engine mounts will be replaced when engine is reinstalled
Both front fenders are off
About an hour left until engine is ready to come out...
Sorry no pictures.

Alright finally cooled off. I was veery very very very upset about my intake/thermostat being damaged, see pictures above. Now it might not seem like a big deal, but this was the very first time the car has moved in the last five years. It was a very big deal, the car literally hasn't moved an inch since it was parked there. But now the engine is out and I will tear it apart for cleaning and painting. I need to take the steering column and dash out. It's going to the paint shop after that, same guy who painted my Impala. I'd paint it myself, but I don't have access to the tools I want. So I'll have someone else do it. Plan is its leaving this weekend for paint and more body work. Hopefully it won't take as long as my Impala did (8 months); I really want to drive it this year. So, when it leaves I'll post more pictures of its restoration. And yes it's a 71 340 block, and a 72 chassis. Yes it's a clone but this car is special to me. I did light work on in my Impala and MG's restorations, but this one I did 90% of it. Some stuff I needed help. I don't like clones, but my opinion of that has changed since I did the conversion to this one.

Well the Porsche is back. We're doing a rear disc brake conversion, replacing the ignition switch, and checking the voltage regulator. I drove it for about 30 miles, car scares the crap out of you. But it handles like no other.

87 RX-7. In for some A/C work. Nice looking car. It's in a lot better shape than I thought it was, from description the owner have over the phone. Has a very tight short throw shifter in it. Has the a 4 barrel carb, rotary engine. Not a bad little car.

15 GT 5.0. Resonator delete/X pipe install. Mods so far are JLT oil separator, Bama tune, and now this. Car had a deep growl after the job was done. I've got a video of it, but there's too much background noise to really hear the exhaust. Owner and I discussed possibly make a mustang club in our area, very large mustang population here. Very nice car.
If anyone wants to see the video let me know. I'll send it to a buddy and have him load it up to YouTube. So I can post it here.

Well car finally left my shop and it spent the night at my house. It's at the paint shop now. Which I nearly lost it on the way there. And well I found out most of the body work that was done is crap, and my $1000 hood is ruined, happy days. Ah, whatever doesn't matter; car is in good hands now.

I was terrified being under a car when it was on a rack. Now it doesn't bother me at all. You start using it you'll get used to it. And some time down the road it won't bother you.

Here's what you can do. Jack the car up, with the floor jack, then put something like a brick behind the rear tire. Get you jack stands and put along the frame rail behind the front wheels. Lower the floor jack and give the jack stands a little jiggle. Just to make sure they are holding it properly and won't move. It might take a few tries, but you'll get it. Then remove the floor jack so you can work. Never ever ever work on a car with the floor jack being the only thing holding it up. It's to risky to let it fall on you. It's how I lost my uncle.

It was a hard time. Which the jacks the more you use them the more you get used to them. Which I've got a fear that's still with me to this day. I don't like boat props, I don't like being around them at all. It's weird on land I'm fine, but around water there's just no way. I don't know why. Which if I'm out on the boat, luckily it has a ladder in the front, if I decide to jump in the lake.
But my boat has a twin prop, insult to injury...

68 911. Engine is almost ready to install, just a few more adjustments then it should be ready. Which it won't matter, it's coming out again anyway.

15 ram 1500 sport. Exhaust work, stock muffler replaced with a cherry bomb vortex. Cats, resonators, and the rest of the exhaust system wasn't touched. Truck sounded good, not too loud but not too quiet. Very nice piece.
On a side note, this truck has me considering putting a cherry bomb vortex back on my Silverado. They have a great sound.

It is nice. I don't really deal with too many brand new vehicles. Which I mentioned to the owner, works at our dodge dealer, about the raisin or power bulged hood. They said it was part of the sport package. I mentioned it was a retro style of the classic hood that come on the challengers. Which I liked that. The other two are pulling away from their retro classic look. Dodge is staying true to it. Props to dodge.

Update...
White Porsche is running, very surprising actually.
54 chevy. Currently doing brake adjustment.
We have a CTS-V in for oil change and diagnostics. I'm waiting on owners approval then pictures will be posted.
My friend's phone is not wanting to cooperate, so we're trying to find out how we can post videos through YouTube. It's not wanting to post the videos on YouTube. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

09 CTS-V Sedan. Mods include exhaust, and tune. I believe the owner has ordered pullies. The graphic is a painted realistic flames and checkered flag. It's in for oil change and diagnostics concerning the engine coolant system. The graphic is new, it wasn't on the car during its last visit. Very nice car, and very strong.

Love those cars, but that graphic is ridiculous.
