2014 mustang v6 premium automatic.

Since it was a rental car and the 15's were coming out I got it for about $18k with 16k miles on it.

I love my car. I pretty much just go out and sit in it everyday since I only have my permit right now.

1975 lincoln continental 2 door. All blacked out, lowered, exhaust, system (of course), wheels, many new parts, straight exhaust with huge exhaust tips (i didnt know better i was 15). Had it a year before i could drive so saved my money and did all of the stuff to it before i could drive it. It was 20 years old when i got in 95, no rust really clean. Paid 1600 and sold it for 6k 2 years later. Wish i still had it, bought a stupid camaro as my 2nd car (mistake).

But that car got me into cars for life. Took it to shows, cruise nights etc every week with my dad. Took apart most of the motor, painted it and put in a ton of chrome parts. It had 75k miles, i see them go for 12k now on the same condition mine was in.

Thanks... my family bought it in 2000 from the estate of the neighbor 1/2 mile up the road, who was also my grandmother's uncle. My dad/sister drove it a couple years until I turned 16, and it's been me ever since. I like my Mustang but I love that truck!

Silver 1993 Mustang LX 4 banger with burgundy interior. That thing went 0-60 in 4.3 minutes. Now it's been converted to a drag car.

My first car was a 1998 5spd Nissan Maxima, don't have a pic of it.
My second car was a 2003 6spd Maxima.
And then the day I traded her in...

Rusty but crusty, Bought my first car at 18. My 2000 v6 mustang. Bought with 109k miles on it. Rust holes on both quarter panels, roof, and anywhere in between. But it cleaned up good, and I loved it. Installed coil packs, a cold air intake, painted the stock wheels, and experimented with gallons upon gallons of plasti-dip. Sold it at 21 for my GT. Still miss that car sometimes. Click image for larger version

Very nice. Mines a 70 T/A Challenger on a 72 chassis with a 71 340 block. It's a clone, but I don't care about that. I like it and it's going to be beautiful, that's the only two things that matter.

Back in the day nobody really worried about originality. Building them up was the most important thing. My 340 'Cuda got a built up 318 to make the insurance man happy and eventually pulled that motor and dropped in a 440. I had it until 1993.

I know that but I do. I was born well after the muscle car era. So, I only get to see the few that have survived, or they're rotting away in some field. I'm glad I was able to save both of mine. It's such a tragedy to see these cars abandoned, left to rot in a graveyard until there's nothing left, but a pile of rust.
Forgive the bad grammar, it wasn't my strong point in school.

Yeah, and 'Cudas and Challengers were notorious for rotted out floor plans and trunk floors.

The trunk in mine was garbage but the floor pan was in good shape. There was one rotting spot. Well after we gutted the interior; we found they put another floor pan section in. It turns out they never cut the old one out. So, we cut both out and got a new one welded in.
If you're interested I've got a thread in general car discussion. It's about the cars I work on at my shop. I'm also covering the challenger restoration in the thread too.

Sounds good. I will have to check it out. Wish I still had that 'Cuda...a lot of fun in that car.

My favorite classic muscle car is a 71 Cuda. But the challenger isn't a bad substitute, although it's a little bigger.

I don't mean to be Captain bring down but don't forget that some of you may have bank or other sensitive password verification questions that ask "what was your first car".
So, with that in mind. My first car was a Yugo GT.

That's a good idea. Which I don't know about everyone else, but I have no questions concerning cars. I was known as the car guy in my class. It didn't sound like a good idea to have a question, to sensitive info, concerning cars. That's just me.

I feel comfortable in that no one out here knows my real name, any e-mail addresses I use, any login names I use and which websites I may visit and use them with. Good to mention, though, for people who haven't thought about it.

Huge isn't what I'd say. More like a land super oil tanker. I worked on a 76 Deville off and on for about a month. The belt kept falling off, had the 500 in it. That was the weakest big engine I have ever seen. The body size made my Impala look like an Isetta. But like all the ole big cars it floated on the road. Which very few compared to the Fleetwood.

First car

86 cutlass supreme.
9" rear end swap with 3.55 gears
383 strocker completely torn down to block with full forged internals and topped off with a blower.

Dynoed in at 662 hp.

Pushed 750 on the dyno with more on reserve but kicked back to the 662 for longevity.

Custom suspension for the street racing

Had over 40000 into it by the time all was said and done. Unfortunately don't have any pics of it with the new paint but it is now sold and gone.
