95 Nissan maxima with 250 k miles. Car was freaking indestructible. Did many a neautral drops on it and it still,
chugged along. Went through lots of stupidity with me including "car jousting" during lunch at school. My sister had it for a week and totalled it.

My first child...

1965 Chevrolet Impala SS. Take a lot of pride in the fact I saved her. Owner was going to take her to the crusher, if someone didn't buy it. Well, now it's mostly restored and I'm at peace when I'm in the car, no worry, frustration or anger. A lot of good people put their hands on it in the restoration and I'm grateful to all of them. I've even won a few best in shows at some competitive car shows in her. She always gets a crowd around her and someone wanting to buy her. Unfortunately, for them she's not for sale and she'll never be...

That breather was a temporary replacement while I got the original carb rebuilt, original breather wouldn't fit on replacement Edelbrock...

1995 mercury grand marquis. Got the car for 1200 and it lasted me about 2 years. Sold it with shy of 240k miles when everything decided to fail. I loved that car and had a lot of memorable moments in it as well. For an old heavy as car it sure could handle mexicos intl speedway lol

Don't know if you was talkin to me lol but mine was white with grey cloth interior but i loved how the digital gauges looked with my automatic climate control, power seats and air suspension. I think it was rather luxurious for what i paid lol... Typical me but i put some 6k hids and leds on the side lights that turned on when i made turns

Your first ride

Yes, I was...
I had an 01 Bonneville SSEI (fancy way of saying supercharged 3.8L), black, tan leather, paid 2500 had 140k miles drove it for most of high school. Sold it for 3000, in 13, and 170k miles, then bought the Roush...
I also loved the instrument cluster had a boost gauge too...

2013 GT Premium. Leather Recaro seats, reverse sensing, electric package, automatic. I wanted a manual(would have had a Boss 302) but since I didn't know how to drive stick at the time, I got this. Eh, better at the drag strip anyways.

My first car(pic is not my car but almost identical), a 1979 vw scirroco. 16v fuel injected 4sp. The p/s fender was duct taped on, the driver side floorboard was rusted through, the clutch was ****, the electronics were ****(yellow headlights), caught fire twice(my fault due to horrible amp/stereo install). But it ran like the devil and jumped things that would make the Duke boys cry. It also had about a $1500 sound system in it. That was 20yrs ago now.

I wouldn't mind having another one to restore now that I'm a bit more grown up and can respect it more.

For real dude? Not only is your first car a 30k+ nice car but you almost got a boss 302 as a first car? No offense to you as you can't really help it, but why do parents do this? NO first time car owner needs a car like that or a boss 302 for crying out loud.

Reminds me of the Top Gear (UK) episode where they set out to get the cheapest, yet coolest car to insure for a teenager. Then, they jam May's (If I remember correctly) stereo on the highest volume/settings during the 'sneak in/out of home' decibel test lol.

My first car - 2001 Toyota Camry LE. Thing was an absolute monster. Many long and great road trips, shenanigans, etc. with it. Bought it used with ~50k miles. Ran it to ~140k miles and then sold it to a friend to get a 2014 Mustang v6! I really liked the back end of my camry because of my siiiick stock spoiler lol!

[Seems attaching files isn't working for me right now... I'll try again later]

It's not even that. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you love your car. But there is no substitute for the respect you have for a car that you work hard for. I pushed a lawn mower around my neighborhood from age 12-18. Had saved up 5k when I was 15 1/2 to buy my first POS Chevy blazer. But you know what? I had the most cared for, respected POS blazer in town. And where do you go from a brand new bad to the bone mustang? You never get the experience of having a used car? It's not an attack on you mustangz, I just can't understand how parents think it's a good idea to set their kid up like that. Life isn't easy. 30k car doesn't come easy. I get so disgusted when I see this. Anyway, sorry for the rant. Let me know if your parents want to adopt a grown man. I could use a Boss

Bahaha. Trust me, I still care for my car. I have since the 1st day I got it. I put the downpayment on it, and will pay back the monthly payments once I have a job. I know life isn't easy, trust me on that. 9 major surgeries and a lifetime medical condition tend to change your outlook on life bigtime.

Anyways, I know where your coming from with that, I know it's not an attack or anything.

No Picture but 1970 Custom 500 4 door sedan Dark Blue with 302, auto 3 speed tranny and AM radio ! I paid $500 for it, took me all summer and most of the next winter mowing lawns and clearing drive ways to pay for it! Then another 6 months to pay for the insurance before my day would let me drive it!

First ride was a 96 328i. Didn't know how to drive a manual but bought it and forced myself to learn in order to drive it.

No pic, but 1980 Pontiac Trans Am. Bought it used off a grandma in 1984, license plate frame even said Grandmas Vroom Vroom. Wish I had it still, it was a great car, lots of good times.

77 Impala

1977 Impala, 2 door with the glass-house rear window. 305 V8. I loved driving and working on it. Lost reverse when doing a neutral-drop into reverse. My friends hated having to push me out of parking spots for a few weeks before getting a rebuild. Too bad these now have a following and are way too expensive to buy in any decent shape. Pic is not mine, but very similar.

My first car was given to me by my parents a year ago for college, which is the white mustang. This year I decided to buy my own car and pass down the white one to my brother. The red mustang is the first car I officially bought.

My first car should have come with a boat anchor. 1972 Buick Lesabre. Parking that monster was always a challenge. 454 V8, 8 or so MPG. I don't miss that car at all.
