3M Clear Bra

Who on the forum is currently or has used this 3M Clear Bra for their mustang? How well does this product protect the paint from rock chip? How well does it do from keeping bugs sticking to the product? Do the bugs fall off with just spraying a hose on it or does it take some elbow grease to remove those suckers?

I see AM sells the 3M clear bra for my 2011 V6 and looking to protect paint from rock chips and bug removal super easy. Basically I'm hoping for spray it with water and off they come.

Have a great day!

I have had this 3M product on my car for 4 years. It does a great job of protecting the paint but unless you cover half of your hood you are going to get chips. I went with covering the front 6" and have a few chips beyond that area. As far as bugs go, some will rinse off with a hose but others will require washing off with soap and a mitt. No elbow grease required.

it is the wax/sealant that aids in cleanup (also cleaning it every week!)

I'm putting a fresh coat of wax every 3 months.

Have a great day!
