Assuming you're talking about racing at a drag strip... it's all about the driver mod and that means getting more seat time. For the longest time I couldn't shift very fast until one day it clicked for me with no other reason other than I finally decided to get allggressive with the car. Launching is all allggressive but finding that happy medium and knowing the limits of your car and tires. My car would spin off a 2500rpm clutch dump but would bog hard the minute they grabbed. My solution was to slip it a little on initial take off, and then dump it the rest of the way.
If this is about street racing then just as a fair warning street racing talk is not allowed on this forum and any suspected threads are subject to being closed and the offending members might get an infraction (depending on if this is a recurring issue)
