All I have to say is daaaammmnnn... Fully blacked out GXP with the SSV front and rear on it. I didn't know what the hell it was at first.

Will snap some surreptitious pics if I see it this afternoon.

I have to say the G8's and GTO's around this area have been popping up every where.

There's a guy on my base with a new Chevy SS that he says "was shipped over from Australia from an embassy" how ever he recently slapped a whipple 2.9 on that thing and holy moley that thing scoots!

I dunno but I had to stop myself from drooling on that G8/SSV... like... that might be a DD to look into in a few years. The G8s are holding their value like crazy tho, especially the GXP although they aren't really any better than the GT unless you HAVE to have a stick.

G8 with heads,cam,150 shot, full exhaust, fuel system and e85 makes for a nasty 4 door.

Any views on the GT vs the GXP? Just banging around on a few LSX/G8 forums seems to point to the GT being a better buy by far and the auto being better than the stick. I guess not for roll racing in Texas tho lol.

I would take the auto personally bc of the size of the car.
Most prefer the Gt over the GXP bc the ls2 is a better platform vs the ls3 in the GXP.
Bolton for Bolton the ls2 is faster

Good to know, I know nothing about the LS2/LS3 advantages and disadvantages but yeah, the forums I read did mention that the only reason to get the GXP is for the stick shift if that is something one NEEDS. The autos come with the 4L60 or 4L80?

Yeah I imagine that a 6.0L with a good set of heads is going to be better than a 6.2L with crap heads.
