I'm curious to see how the turbo camaro does against ecoboost... I know numbers are different but they really should be in the same class (and I am not interested in the turbo 4 just curious )

^ I think that's only comparison that Mustang has a chance of winning. I wouldn't be surprised if the Camaro won the 4 banger comparison though.
V8 - no
V6 - no
I4 - maybe

I checked out one at a local dealer, it's actually a pretty sweet car now, the interior is a vast improvement over the 2010+

I've seen pics of a new 1LE package for the v6 Camaros' in green, with black hood and wheels. It's suppose to be a more track ready v6 just like the 1LE SS.

I was just reading the newest issue of Consumer Reports, which it the car issue. For predicted new car reliability, the Mustang now joins the Charger and Chally as "much worse than average." The Camaro, at least, is "average."

That wasn't addressed.
If you want to know the answer to that, you'd be better off asking Ish416. I think he knows better than the Consumers Report Organization.

Oh WOW! I feel like I must have missed something. LOL
So I take it parking lot racing is not considered street racing, otherwise all references would be removed.

^ The visibility out of the Camaro is bad. If they fixed that, they'd have a killer car.

It is horrible. But I'd take a GTO or a 4th gen firebird over it.

I'm curious about the 2.0 turbo 4 camaro cylinder and how it'll do against the ecoboost... Anybody seen a link or review anywhere? Please post... I've seen video reviews for ss and rs but not turbo. Just curious.

Off the top of my head, so numbers may not be exact, but theres a ton of mis match in the market.

Camaro turbo 4 is 275 hp, ecoboost is 310
Camaro v6 is 330 or 335 hp, mustang v6is 300

Really the ecoboost and camaro v6 would be a good run, because even though the ecoboost is down on HP its up on torque. The mustang v6 should also easily be able to handle the turbo camaro, again with torque being the only factor, but thats a 25 hp deficit, not 10.

Also comes down to things like gearing, but the weight between the two is close enough to be negligible, especially with the various packages people may get on either platform.

200 lbs is 20 whp at the wheels, but like i said, torque, gearing .... close enough to not matter.

I agree that the GT will have its hands full with the SS however, and even the 350 with the 1LE. The suspension package offered on the camaro really is incredible.

Haven't seen any on the streets here in central WI. Did spend some time with the one at the Chicago Auto show a few weeks ago.

Would definitely like to take a 1LE out for a drive. The 5.0 cannot match that torque curve.
