If I had to guess stealership retail would be ~18k, so asking 15-16k wouldn't be out of question. Judging by the pictures it looks like you have taken real good care of it and it's fairly stock so I imagine it would appeal to an older buyer looking to get a newer model v8. Surprisingly, not everyone has to have the new 5.0.

That being said, be sure to maintain your higher standards when looking for a new edge. There are tons of tired, ragged GT's out there that can easily become money pits, and not for the right reasons. Same goes for Machs and n/a cobras. Don't settle for something that's not up to your standards.

4V's are nice, but if I wanted to boost a n/a new edge car I'd prefer a 2V. It's just cheaper overall. I'm not talking about going wild I mean bolt ons, suspension and a nice centrifugal making ~425 rwhp.

In stock form the PI 2V's aren't great but it doesn't take much to wake them up.
I know, I think about it all the time. I think should I sell one of mine and take any "mod" money and a little from the savings and just get it? The wife wouldnt care, like If I sold 1 of 2 and threw in some cash as well? Maybe I should sell some stock? These are the thoughts and questions I have. Ive already sorta promised my son the 96 when hes 17 or so, I guess it would be the 03 I sell. I can get the tires, slap some lowering springs on it, clean it up nice and sell it. Could maybe make $1500 on it all said and done to the right buyer (a dumb high schooler). But I got a great deal on it and the Mach may not be all its cracked up to be. I havent drove it or heard it run, just looked at it inside and out. The guy Ive talked to via email so he could be BSing me on stuff too. Hes had it almost a year, he started at $15,500, then $13500, then $11500 where its at now. For all I know the engine could be hacked together or the mileage is listed from the "rebuilt" motor. I do think its legit though from this place, like I said its a reputable performamce shop for typically European cars, VW, Volvo, Audi, Jaguar, and some older brit cars. They have the occasional domestic like this Mach. They do have a dyno there though where he can "show" me what its got, lol. But a 12-13 yr old Mustang to most average people probably doesnt seem worth what hes asking I assume and it just hasn't sold. Its well worth the money if it checks out.

Who am I kidding, Ill never do it!!

I've only seen maybe one or two pictures of your SN-95s. I think you had more than one. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hahaha. Didnt even think about that, thats awesome. No I dont think I can get rid of it, I have had it longer now than any car I have ever had! Plus its not worth the money I would get for it, so I may as well keep it. It can be my sons Mustang starter kit. Ill have to keep another car soon too, for his winter DD. Sooo many people think 94-98 cars are fugly, they can be for sure in stock form with the 3 blade fan wheels, but a little work to them like Scotty always says goes a long way.

A good clean new edges does look nice but I wouldn't get rid of a s197 for it. My daughter has the 04 GT convertible we had and I'm going to buy it back soon when she is ready to buy a new car.

That's pretty pricey, I bought mine for $6500 with 48k and close to stock but it took me a while to find one I liked.

I'm know a little late to the party but if it makes you feel better about stepping back into a 2V, I stepped down from a Corvette to a 2V.

If I were on your situation I would try to sell the '10 outright and then search for a new edge.

Thanks for the replies, I've been getting a lot of people wanting to trade but not wanting to pay much difference. I finally listed my car for sale or trade, if it doesn't sell fore too long i might just keep it and focus all my money on my fox.

That's quite the downgrade, may I ask why you switched to a 2V?

I wanted to reduce some debt and that was the easiest thing to get rid of. But thankfully this car is almost as fast as the vette.

Yeah I'd say you stepped back, tripped and fell down a couple more. I know a couple guys that went from Vettes to GT 500's that's a step back.

I think I smacked my head on the way down cause fairly content with my 2V too. In all honesty I want a C6 Z06 instead of the base that I had.
