Bullet proof converter

I'm going to put in a 2800-3000 stall conv. Still not sure what brand.Any one have any idea's? When the car is done it'll have about 360-375rwhp, and is it a good idea to go with a bigger tranny cooler?

Doesn't look like anyone's jumped in to help you, so here goes! I have a Precision Industries Stallion converter for my 2002 GT. It's a "3200 stall" converter and is very easy on the street and highway but launches like a bandit! They are offered in a lot of places but I think mine came from brenspeed.com

Also, you might want to go over to clickclickracing.com and ask a few questions. It's a Ford Transmission site.

Re: Bullet proof converter

The PI converter is a billet piece so it's pretty strong, though expensive. I put a transmission cooler and a deep pan on and everything has been good.
