Re: which oil filter

The motorcraft filter has a lot more filtration paper in it than the aftermarket brands. I run MC and you can get them at the regular car parts store for like $4-$5.

Re: which oil filter

Motorcraft. If DangerDude was still around he'd give you a rubber hose beating for using K&N.

BTW...if you reuse a oil filter of any kind you are just asking for problems. They're cheap...replace them...with OEM.

Re: which oil filter

if you like the K&N buy a Mobil 1 filter, the only difference is the the K&N has a nut on the end.

Re: which oil filter

oem ford motorcraft, probably the best filter for the dollar spent out there no need to go elsewhere, it also has a drain back valve that you MUST use, I think the only other filter to have this is wix.

Re: which oil filter

I've ALWAYS used motorcraft... no issues. Just make sure you keep changing your oil and filter on regular intervals and you'll be dandy. There really isn't a better choice for the price.
