2000 Mustang V-8 GT Automatic Convertable will not start

I have a 2000 Mustang V-8 GT Automatic Convertable that will not start. It will turn over and crank but not start. I have used starter fluid and it will then start and idle, if I try to drive it, it will accelerate but die when braking to a stop, needing starter fluid to get it going again. This continued as I went around the block.

I have changed out the fuel filters, new battery. I believe the fuel pump is working since it will run and rev once it is running.

I have had it attached to a computer and it could not find out or indicate any problems.

Any help or Advise would be appreciated

When you say you have attached it to a computer are you meaning that you used an OBDII scan tool to check for any DTCs (trouble codes)? Its possible you may have a Fuel Pressure Regulator issue or even a leak somewhere. Check around the injectors (they have o-rings that may be leaking) Have you performed any work on the vehicle recently?

Also, remove your spark plugs and check to see if you have any white residue/fuel/oil on them.
