Well, did some data logging tonight with my wide band finally....I think my tune may be a tad bit rich...what do y'all think? lol

Well, it's hard to say. It bottoms out at 10, so, it may be dipping below. It was nice to see a couple spots above 10 though...granted, only a few tenths, but at least it wasn't completely below.

I did manage to piss off a few people on the undisclosed closed road in mexico tho....but oh well, I gots my data. I'm pretty stoked that I am not pulling any timing at all. I mentioned in my post on the tunning forum it might not be a bad idea to add another degree to my street tune with minimal fuel changes. 19* timing should surely get me over 600 SAE on 93. I know there sure is enough fuel for it...and I am only 87% duty cycle on my fuel pumps, so I'm definitely good to go there.

i don't really get it can u explain it like this. Example : my gear ratio is 3.27 : 1 this means my driveshaft turns 3.73 turns for every time my tire does 1 full rotation

10 parts of air to 1 part of fuel vs. 11 parts air to 1 part of fuel. It's a ratio... just like everything else. Fill in "part" with something else

on a s/c motor richer is safer. the lower the number the richer the mixture is. It's a fine line. leaner makes more power, but too lean makes motors go boom

Wow, this thread blew up quick. lol

Yeah, I have way too much fuel right now. I would like to get closer to 12:1 like I was before my blower swap. 11.8 that the tuner was shooting for originally would be fine and would leave some room for bad gas...but I'd like to push the 12:1 line and get all I can out of it without it creating windows in the block.

I'd get 11.8 on the street tune and 12:1 on the race tune.

I'll go for that kind of dialing in detail when I head over to his dyno this fall. If he can get me in the 11's A/F on my street tune I'll probably call it a day there...get through the summer, then get dialed in in the fall after the NY trip.

Me personally I'd stick to 11.8. My race tune is between 11.5 and 11.8. What kind of timing were you seeing?

You also think you are spinning your tires on the dyno....

But yeah, my tune is commanding 18* of timing and that is what it is making and holding. It's nice seeing the car making the commanded amount of timing for a change. the 2.2 and lower intake port have my IAT2's down in the low 120s, high 1-teens consistently. With the eaton, I was in the mid-upper 130s so it would never use the full commanded timing.

well you are right, i'm not sure what it's doing on the dyno I just know when you put the numbers to the test, my rwhp doesn't add up to my weight versus trap speeds and e.t.'s.

RWTD was great the first time I used them, and I'm sure they will be great this time around. I did their email tune for the time being to get the car safe for the summer and then I'll go there in the fall.
