Lightbulb Loud Exhaust

I'm Looking to swap out the current exhaust I have running on my GT too something that is really loud and mean. I've been thinking about Magnapacks, heard a lot of good things about them and seem to be pretty damn loud. I already have SLP X Pipe and SLP Headers as well. Hoping some of you can give some advice on which systems would be really loud, yet mean... Thanks!

Re: Loud Exhaust

don't know if he'll chime in, but there is a user named joey on here, he has the 4.6 and has flowmasters and they dump in front of the axle (at least i'm pretty sure what he has going on) i liked the sound of it, dunno if you would call it really super loud, but it was extremly noticeable compared to my stock 94gt exhaust

alot of people don't like flowmasters on the 4.6 and will tell you they suck, exhaust is deffinitly a personal prefference, you might try checking out youtube and try to find some high quality vids (make sure you click the hq button) and listen to some combos on there

Re: Loud Exhaust

SLP loud mouth catback is really loud, even with a catted mid pipe. Had it on my car and switched to the loudmouth II's because it was too loud for me.

Re: Loud Exhaust

If you go O/R X or H pipes with any Magnapack, Borla Stinger, or Flowmaster 40 series you will be loud.... SLP sound ricey to me sometimes and I just think SLP needs to stick with the bowties

Re: Loud Exhaust

IMO, magnapacks sound badass, along with borla stingers and any bassani exhaust.
Flows are alright, but it seems that every tom, dick and harry have them on their mustang.

Beaner just put on stingers, and I think he as the stock catted h, and modular2valve has magnapacks with an O/R X, might want to check with them as well.

But as stated above, it's really a personal preference. Just don't go with glasspacks or straight pipes(no mufflers)...you'll sound like a hick farm truck...unless that's what you want
