Re: need info!

You should be able to get a set of PI heads and intakes and basically most everything needed for quite cheap. You just need to buy a 99-04 GT motor and use the stock heads off of it as they are the PI heads. I have never researched this or done this so its best to make sure all 99-04 motors work or which ones dont and such~ overall a junk yard engine that runs shouldnt be much more than 1000~ by the time you figure in rebuilding the heads and putting on better springs and such you shouldnt be in them for to much~ if you can install them yourself thats great as well.

Re: need info!

i would try finding a 99-04 cobra (well maybe not the 03/04 cobra...) engine and just swap it, they are sometimess spendy to find... but the extra 2valves might be worth it for future upgrades instead of getting heads now and than doing that later... just a thought

Re: need info!

usually 03/04 cobra motors with trans go for 5-7k though (good condition and all that)

Re: need info!

an engine swap sounds good later down the line but i only got 64000 on mine so idk i heard the 4.6 2v is pretty good at taking a lickin, regardless i think the pi heads and an upper/lower intake would prolly be the wayto go 4 now, does ford make an upper/ lower intake that will just bolt on my car or is there a better aftermarket one?
