Smile cheap upgrades?

I was wanting to know what are some cheap preformance upgrades for a 00 mustang gt, on summit race, there was a spector intake for like 130 bucks, would that do much preformance wise to make a differance, i have a k&n in stock air box, also a upper plenum made by trick flow around a 100 bucks, or a new throttle body, would any of those mods be worth the cash, and would they require a computer to interphase with them? Thanks alot

Re: cheap upgrades?

about the only things worth doing would be catback (maybe highflow/off road H but not much power there), under drive pulley, an air intake (all the same basically), and a tune. Most anything else (other than new upper intake NOT just a throttle body (worthless gy itself) will help.

Most bolt ons will give 5-10hp~ they dont really add together though just giving you a ball park~

Re: cheap upgrades?

Biggest bang for your buck would be a set of rear end gears - and if automatic, a 'tune' (which would improve shift points/pressures) the 4.6s are limited with the basic bolt-ons.. Can't just throw on heads/cam/intake in a day like the 5.0s

They respond really well to boost, though..
