Lowering my 04 GT

I'm trying to lower my Mustang and was wondering how bad of a ride it would be if I just used Eibach springs and my stock shocks? Or is that even possible?

Re: Lowering my 04 GT

it will wear your shocks and struts out a lot faster if you don't replace them. Do it the right way first

Re: Lowering my 04 GT

I was thinking of going with the sportline because it's lower than the others
were there showing 1.5 the sportline says 2.0 in front and 1.8 in the rear.
What else besides the springs do I need. It's to be driven back and forth to work.

prokit would be ideal if you wanted to keep you stock shocks. i rode around for about 8 months with the prokit in and stock shocks with no problem, and the aligment shop was able to ge my car back into spec with out camber caster plates. if you plan on going lower thou then you will need camber caster plates and aftermarket performance shocks.

Re: Lowering my 04 GT

eibach generally has softer spring rates, but you need to know for sure. Your stock rates are around 400 front 250 rear

I Dont know about on stangs but when i was in the vw world people had mixed reviews about the vogtland springs. as far as gabreil shocks i dont think they make a aftermarket performance shock.

Sorry I keep bothering everyone but I just want to get it right. What
if got H&R springs and went with kyb shocks and struts or would kokico
blues or illumina work?
