2000 mustang gt conv. want to modd dont knw where to start

I have a 2000 gt conv. Manual trans. Been wanting to modd it and literally dont know where to start.... Im thinking the tranny because i have had to work on it and replace the clutch atleast twice. Any advice?

really depends on what you want to do with the car, most people will probably say gears since this will make your current hp more noticeable...

another first mod would be exhaust, unless your really really like you stock setup.

exhaust since you get sound, looks, and a little power. NO mustang is right without a good exhaust

exhaust is definitely needed, i recommend 40 series muffler it sounds like a beast if you add that on

second if i were you i would put in a after market cold air intake

Exhaust, CAI, Short Throw, Gears.... normal tidbits that help you get going...

ok cool... im for all of that stuff. Lol what ive been thinking is the exhaust then cold air intake. follwed by the transmission like a stage 3 clutch and working up from there gears a whole new fly wheel and drive shaft to cope with the added power short shift clutch, slotted rotors and other stuff. what about super chargers? are they worth it? or is it something to get if I just want to show off once in awhile and waste gas?

i agree w/ exhaust but dont go flowmaster. too much drone. go bassani or slp or even magnaflow

intake elbow, TB, gears, nitrous or any forced induction, long tubes, x or h pipe, good catback system like magnaflow, bassani, borla, etc...
sooo many routes to go

i don't think you'll need a new clutch till you start making some good numbers... and i think the drive shaft will handle a good amount of power. If your looking at trying to save some rotating mass, an aluminum drive shaft would be nice, could also go with 2 piece rotors since your looking at getting slotted ones anyway. Than some good looking light rims (all of this weight reduction will not only be less your engine has to carry, its less your engine has to turn, same concept as underdrive pulleys in a way) I would go with a findaza (sp?) flywheel, they have a replaceable wear area, so you just replace that one strip instead of the whole thing...

EDIT: also superchargers are well worth it if you can afford them, would probably be best to get some supporting mods to go with it,also a really good tune would help it last a really long time and be a lot of fun.
