Re: Just Painted My Cals.....How They Look?
There are different springs to choose from, type and brand. Your stock springs are linear, they compress in a uniform manner all the time, normal driving and spirited driving.
Most aftermarket springs are progressive. They tend to be soft under normal load but firm up when compressed (like pushing the car through corners).
Eibach pro kit springs are good, a lot of guys on here have them. Some use H&R springs as well. Ford Racing springs are good, but are linear and don't lower the car much.
I would lower the car at least 1.5 inches. Any less than that and you're not going to even notice a drop.
You're also going to want cast and camber plates. These will help keep wear down on shocks and struts (stock) and will prevent uneven wear on the tires. Maximum Motorsports make really good ones. They are about $200.
