Re: Is this a pretty good oil change?

I don't think you would need the oil treatment though unless your car is burning oil or you're having engine problems.

Re: Is this a pretty good oil change?

make sure you drain out the old oil first

make sure you put the drain plug back in before you put the new oil in

make sure you pour the oil into the hole that says "OIL" on it, or if it is upside down, it might say "710"

also old motor oil is carcinogenic so wash your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds when the transaction is complete.

good luck and may god have mercy on your soul

Make sure you the gasket comes off with the old oil filter. That's the key to a "pretty good oil change".

How many cars do you have!? 300 oil changes is like 900,000miles/75years worth of oil!

Re: Is this a pretty good oil change?

personally I think using the high priced oil on a street car is a waste of money, I have used the cheapest oil for years which in my case is walmarts super tech every 4000 or when the color of the oil turns to a darker bronze color. I have 130k miles and still run 12's and 8.20's in the 1/8.

Personally I'd rather spend the money to be on the safe side

You should not need the oil treatment with Royal Purple oil.
