need help with x pipe install

2004 Mustang GT, Automatic Trans, 4.6L SOHC V8
Someone Help!!! I am having serious trouble installing my new x-pipe. The bottom bolt on the passenger side is totally inacessable. Does anyone know what to do? Do i need to pull the starter out to access this? My problem is not breaking the nut loose, it's getting something on the nut! Nothing will fit. A short 15mm 3/8 drive is too short, the stud is too long for it. A deep well WILL NOT FIT in the space provided, trust me. My Friend has a 2003 GT w a manual trans and the setup for this mid pipe is different, the studs are in different places. If anyone can help please let me know. Thanks!!!!!
feel free to email me at

Re: need help with x pipe install

All you need is a long extention and a swivel and the right depth socket it will seem impossible but i went from the front side of the car not the middle where the exhuast pipes are there is a better hole through the other side.
