it may be a cluster issue but sensors are quite common on these cars. there are indeed to coolant temp sensors. 1 for the computer and 1 for the cluster. the one right next to the thermostat housing is for the computer. the other is toward the back of the intake, just look for it, you cant miss it. the sensor is 20$ from the dealer. i dont recommend using any other sensor but the dealer one. part number for that is F68Z-10884-AA
to test, theres a resistance value that should vary with engine temperature. im not sure of exact figures but at 20$, its worth a shot.
