Well I wont be home for about another month from Iraq so will the ashes hurt it just sitting there? I really dont want my wife to wash it because she might mess it up. The ashes shouldnt be hot they are from a forest fire about 20-50 miles away.
I almost wonder if a touchless car wash wouldn't take all the ash off...just as long as it's still fresh and hasn't dried or set on the car. If it did set on the car, the pressure jets in the car wash could do more damage than good. Idk, just a thought.

let her take it and get it washed/waxed good and then get a car cover, thats probably the best solution. That will keep anything from getting on the paint. If its black you BEST take very good care of it as black is a nightmare color to care for.
