r my numbers a little low

303 rwhp and 303 rwtp got it back from dyno last week and i thought i would get back higher numbers i run high octane and 9 psi. i got a total 75 rwhp with charger and that is sweet but i thought they would be higher. any ideas auto trans

You were getting 230rwhp with exhaust, CAI, new TB, and new upper intake? Id say thats more impressive then anything else.

I agree, seems kinda inflated. I would expect 280rwhp with your setup. Let me guess, Dynojet dyno??

yeah, that would make it more reasonable. 300rwhp is reasonable with a vortech then.

the auto REALLY sucks the power, I dont see you making 230rwhp with just a couple bolt ons and the auto, but every dyno is different.. so you cant ever go 100% by what they say. I would say you are about where you should be.

yeah with auto gt i got like 20 rwhp with the bolt ons at first and they said i was doing good with an auto with those numbers.u lose like 20% with auto so i did actually get 73 rwhp or so with the s/c but that is with 9 psi so something is not right here. they changed my on first gear on thur. big difference, but i think the shift from 3rd to 4th is a little off and that is were i am losing my power

yeah same place and same person and it was a dyno jet just check my paper, i will scan it as soon as i can figure my scanner out. r dyno jets different?? i was expecting 330ish at least maybe 350. but that wasn't happening

seems a little low....I know several people making 380rwhp out of a Vortech at almost the same boost(possibly even lower) but they are 5speeds...80rwhp to get sucked up seems like a lot.

Maybe your tuner just sucks?? I would think youd defanitely be up in the 350+ range with a vortech as well. I dunno man, you might wanna take it to another dyno and see if someone else can tune it for you.

i am going to have to try something because i should be getting more, a new tranny won't really help with hp but we might could give it more timing to help
is that how it works and since i would have a better tranny it will be able to take more power???. also i think one problem may be when i was driving the other night and i punched it a 90 i went over red line without it changing gears. that needs to be to be changed and hat might be the problem

ok so a GT is 260bhp...isnt it more like 220rwhp out of an auto?

260 x 20% = 52 loss from auto tranny so like 208 to 215 on a basic stock auto gt. autos u lose a lot.

I think mine dynoed over 230 hp with just a few bolt ons the first time I had it done with Corey in SC. Not positive, been a while now. Sounds like what you need is a dyno tune, not just to check hp and torque. Reinhart burns a nice chip, but with that supercharger you really need a dyno tune. Try that.

took my car to hp performance today tony did a great job new numbers

350 rwhp

before my numbers sucked 303 rwhp 303 rwtp coulnd't figure it out but the problem i was having was it car felt like it was shutting down at 90 mph. since it is an auto it was not going into gear quick enough so it felt like i was losing power or being lost in space

get you a new torque converter and shift kit. That will help.

Actually your car dynoed like 216 in Greer with me and a couple weeks later you dynoed in NC right at 230. There was something wrong with the dyno numbers in Greer. Everyone was low there

there's probably another 15-20rwhp and tq in the tune but i'm betting the tuner didn't want to push it on a stock block.

i just looked at garage. you don't have a 289ci that's a pushrod motor.

btw, stock auto 99-04 GT's usually dyno about 215rwhp.
