Moving my battery to the trunk...help

Ok, I have picked up a new intercooler resevoir which will replace my battery, so I need to move the battery to the trunk. I have been shopping around, and I am finding it kind of funny how the prices are running. The steeda relocation kit is 199.99, while summit has kits ranging from $42 to $145. Since I don't race at the track, I don't see me needing something that is IHRA certified. The kit I am thinking of is the $42 kit as it comes with the following.
Quote:
15 in. Length x 9 in. Width x 10 1/2 in. Height
That includes case straps, an H-bar battery hold-down, J-bolts, 20 ft. of positive and 3 ft. of negative cable (both 2-gauge), cable straps, connectors, grommets, and mounting hardware.
That seems like it should serve the purpose. Do any experts out there see and issues with this kit?

Oh, and here is the new IC resevoir...I can't wait to see how it affects my IAT2 temps...and hopefully +HP from it being cooler.

Make sure it vents outside of the trunk.

Re: Moving my battery to the trunk...help

Ok, being un-edumacated about this stuff, and since nothing I have read about it so far discusses venting, in fact a number of kits are sealed boxes, what needs to vent?

Also, anyone have any advice about moving the battery to the trunk. I plan to run the positive wire inside the car, under the carpet, rather than under the car. The battery will be going behind the rear passenger wheel. Other than those two items, any suggestions?

Also, I am thinking of using a solenoid kit to control when the cables are hot. Basically, I am looking at following this recipie...although a good bit of it is greek to me. http://www.modularfords.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=28052

^^not all. if you get a sealed battery box, you don't need to vent it to outside.
