Exclamation Headers?

Hey whats goin on i dont know if this question has been asked on here before but i have been searching for some answers regarding headers. now i know some headers are clutch and tranny safe like they dont have to be removed for access. im looking for a deep agressive tone nothing to high pitch like a ricer so to speak but also performance. if you guys can point me in the right direction it would be helpful thanks in advanced.

Re: Headers?

Shortys are a waste of money, get some LTs and let your girl breathe. If you have the funds go with kooks,if not there are several inexpensive brands out there.I would go with Mac as a 2nd choice.

Yah I was going to suggest if you do decide to go with the Pypes L/T's get them from American Muscle...they are a site sponsor, plus we've heard quite a few negative things about Blue Oval Industries. Might as well go through a reputable company and save the hassle of dealing with a uncooperative one.

Re: Headers?

I've also heard bad things about Blue Oval.Sounds clips online really don't do exhaust clips justice, they will give u a general idea on how it will sound but recordings will all sound different.

Re: Headers?

I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with the longtubes. Pair those up with an h-pipe and your preference of mufflers...that thing will sound like it came straight from hell!

Re: Headers?

Sorry to jump in uninvited, but I bought my first set of wheels for my 'Stang from Blue Oval, and never had a problem with them (the wheels or the company). Perhaps I was lucky, or the bad reviews were over-hyped. Anyway, just my 2 cents. You may continue your thread now

You're one of the few...they used to be based in Jackson, MS and it took me going to the owner's home to get one member's money back for a supercharger that was never shipped. I will never, period, never order anything from blue oval industries.

Re: Headers?

I can tell you which LT headers not to get, BBK. one of the head pipes is approx. 50% restricted due to clearence for steering shaft. BBK assured me that that didn’t effect performance. Check out the pic. I would go with Kooks if you can swing them.
