Re: Aftermarket seats

Those look nice, but you can get a nice set of Corbeaus for the same price, if not less.

Re: Aftermarket seats

hmm, that's true, I just remember seeing some Corbeaus for around $300 that were more low profile than the typical racing seat. They were made for daily drivers that wanted a more aggressive seat, but still practical (holes on the side bolsters for the stock seatbelt)

Re: Aftermarket seats

Here it is, it's the Corbeau Clubman, vinyl, entry level seat, more low profile if you will:

They're 229.99

Re: Aftermarket seats

Ah I see, yah the only other Corbeaus I can think of are the Gts li's and the Gts 2's. Those have the infinite recline and are real comfy. I sat in those before, and they were nice, yards ahead of the stock GT seats. They are slightly higher in price, around $700 for a pair.

What would you be doing with the stock GT seats? Just wondering?

Re: Aftermarket seats

those will look horrible in a mustang. Summit does have racing seats but im sure they wont be comfortable on trips~. I have to agree with you though, the GT seats in 99-04 GT's suck compared to the 94-98s... not sure why they down graded so much in support.

They had to downgrade comfort, quality and performance because they stitched that pony in the upper part of the seat, lol. All show and no go.

They are nicer, but probably wouldn't match the grey interior.

Re: Aftermarket seats

Well, I guess you could go with the summit racing ones you found, or do like Spec said and look at Mach 1 seats or even 94-98 Cobra leather seats. They have more side bolster and longer seat bottoms.

Re: Aftermarket seats

summit racing are cheap, and require a seat track to be modified to work~ many use them and like them. Most no one will sell you just one used seat though lol so you may have to buy new.
