losing boost on my procharger

So recently I noticed im not making as much boost as usual. Normally I make 8-10 psi but now I cant make more than 6 psi. Can anyone provide some troubleshooters so I can fix this? Thanks

Have you changed anything on the setup recently such as exhaust?

Re: losing boost on my procharger

Other than changing the sparkplugs, I havent done anything to the car recently. Overall, theres not a drastic decrease in power but I noticed in the upper rpms, it isnt pulling quite as hard as it usually does. Thats the only change ive noticed since this started

Stock engine? If you're having a definite power loss problem it may be worth it to do a compression and leak down test to check for any weak cylinders. 8psi on an aggressive tune is a little much on a stock 2v.

Re: losing boost on my procharger

8psi should be fine if the tune is good, heck nearly any psi will kills a car if you just put the crappy tune the supercharger companys send out lol.
