Re: 1/4 mile numbers

with your mods you should be capable of running high 13s. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a REAL dyno tune it can make TONS more hp/tq and your car will be safe. With the tune companies throw in you can risk blowing you engine up and more. A tune is a wise investment to make.

throw some drag radials on and mid 13s are possible.. swap to some PI heads.. and you'd do even better.. - have anything done to the trans?

Re: 1/4 mile numbers

PI heads are the cylinder heads ford used on the 99-2004 mustang GTs, better flowing, and better cam profiles... the heads/cams (and their matching intake/exhaust) are the main reason the 99-04 GTs are rated about 40 HP higher than the 96-98 GTs

exactly what this man said and it is by far in my opinion the best mod for the 96-98 cars

I also highly recomend going this route. As said above best mod to do on a 96-98 GT.

Re: 1/4 mile numbers

Yeah, I know, I just prefer to go out and run it, when possible of course... Then again, it is wintertime and some of you guys actually have to deal with that frozen water stuff.
