New intake manifold worth the price?

I'm looking at a Professional Products Satin Typhoon Intake Manifold (99-04 4.6L 2V) from American Muscle along with Venom High Performance Fuel Injectors 24lb (89-04 V8). Has anyone tried this set up? I would re tune my car after these mods were done mainly because of the injectors, would these injectors be to much for a stock 4.6? Thanks

well ive heard the intake manifold isnt worth it even for a heads and cams setup so i dont believe it would be worth the money for you. and i dont see why you would need to change the injectors if you arent maxing out the ones you currently have. just wasted fuel in my opinion.

thats also worth $800 worth of mods. that seems like a lot in my opinion. why not save for a used blower setup or a heads/cams package?

Re: New intake manifold worth the price?

I would love to do heads and a turbo or supercharger but unfortunately I can't. I have about 800 miles on a new engine and it's warrantied for 3 years or 100k so I'm limited on mods I can do. No forced induction or any internal work for me. Do you have any other suggestions that wouldn't void my warranty?

Whats internals mean? Because to me its the pistons rods and crank. I don't know if a cams and head work would fall in thier catagory of internals.

They told me heads and cam would void my warranty.

i think thats about it then. it seems you have all the bolt-ons. you could do nitrous and just unhook the bottle. maybe switch over to longtubes? i just feel youd be wasting your money if you did the above mods but its up to you. have you done a dyno tune?

Re: New intake manifold worth the price?

I haven't tuned it since my last few bolt ons. I was 256 on the ground. I appreciate your help.

no prob. you could always save for something down the road. like a built stroker unless youre happy where your at.
