I'd recommend getting new shocks/struts and c/c plates. I went with tokico bullitt s/s and maximum motorsports 4 way adjustable c/c plates on my car, I'm dropped a touch over 1.5 all the way around. You will need the c/c plates for any alignment over 1 inch drop and s/s after a short period of time because your stock ones will give out. Welcome to the site btw.

Most say they didnt like their job if they dont go at least 1.5 inches and I wouldnt go over that else you start to run into issues if not a little at 1.5 inches anyway (lifting the car on jack stands, on car lifts, scraping, etc)

If you want to do it RIGHT then look into H&R springs with maximum motorsport's CC plates (4 bolt design) along with new struts/shocks (brand dependent on how much you have to pay)

The springs and CC plates are KEY but its a great idea to upgrade the shocks/struts while at it. The install is pretty darn easy, we have a how to on the forums you can read over (it has pictures as well)

I concur with spector you might not be putting it on a lift or jacks some guy at a shop might damage the grounds effects or body not meaning to.When I was in school I was that effect on a honda,I just had to laugh goofy ricers or better yet they guy who had his air lines burst and then decided to get it on the lift
