New SOHC Intake Manifolds

Have ya'll heard about some new intake manifolds to be released for SOHC Mustangs. The new 5.0 Mustangs and Super Fords has a picture, and a short article about a new one from Trick Flow set to be released early in 2007. It is designed to be used on Mustangs with PI cylinder heads, but can be used with non-PI heads as well. It has a high-velocity port design, with a 75mm inlet. You will be able to get it in a Silver Metallic Powercoated Finish, Natural Finish, or Black Powercoated Finish. The MSRP is $799, but will probably be cheaper when it drops. There will also be a high-flow fuel rail kit release when the Manifold goes on sell. Later in 2007 Trick Flow will release aversion for the 5.4 and a twin 57mm throttle body.

I also read elsewhere in the same magazine that BBK will also be releasing a new intake manifold for the sohc motors.

Maybe the SOHC Mod motors will start getting some love like the old pushrod motors. Only time will tell, but the new manifold that Trick Flow is releasing looks damn nice, and it and some nice valve cover would rely set the SOHC Mod motors off.

Re: New SOHC Intake Manifolds

I dunno if it was Trick Flow or not, but I saw tha article about the PowerFlow Lower intake. It lookd cool and seems to be very acessable with its 3 piece design, but they only got 5 more hp from the top end, mid-range tq was up around 20 ft/pds wich is pretty sweet, we all know we could up more lo-mid range torque.
