yeah the true theory behind gears and torque multiplication gets very long.
basically it depends on your goals/setup.
if you plan on staying n/a, then 4.10's are the key.
if you plan on going forced induced or a power adder(nitrous) 3.73's are warranted.
if you dont know yet what you want then IMO id get a set of Motive 3.90's, as theyll be good for any setup.
