New to here

l picked up my car in March of this year in Springfield, Mo. l wasn't able to find anything reasonably priced around here. lt only has 88,000 miles and is in great shape. lt does have lambo doors but l can't find a shock for the drivers side so l have bought hinges to change out, whenever l can find someone to help. l will need to adjust the fenders, but how hard can that be? They are already messed up anyway where the door hits sometimes at the top. l like the wheels (the chrome is peeling on a couple of them) on it now but will get the new 5 spokes w/ 10" ers in the back eventually. Just had to put 2 mufflers on it as 1 blew a hole in the bottom. l have owned a '90 LX 5.0 'vert and a '98 GT 'vert, too. l have attended various shows around Tulsa, as well as in Texas and Florida. l am going to the all Ford/Shelby meet here on the 20th of this month.

Re: New to here

welcome

Looks like it's in pretty decent shape overall...a few things here and there, but nothing that can't be fixed. The fenders can be adjusted by loosening the 3 or 4 screws on the top of the fender inside the engine bay...you might have to play with it a little bit to sit right with the bumper, hood and doors. Like you said, the most important thing is to prevent the door from hitting the fender when opened.

Worst case is that the whole front end might be off and you'll have to take it to a body shop to get it straightened out. Unless you're comfortable doing it yourself.

You can find wheels for good prices at American Muscle.com (also a site sponsor)...they have tons of options, and I believe they have those exact rims in 10's or 10.5".
