Car wont stay running

Earlier I went to go pick up my take out and I tried to start my car and it started then slowly died down and I repeated this about 7 times and even tried to rev the engine and it reved then the car continued to slowly die down. The spark plugs are brand new as well as the alternator and idk I have to change the grommet (fuel filler) only but idk I cant think of what the problem could possibly be. Need advice, opinions. Thank you in advance!!!

I would do the filter first because it's cheaper, if that doesn't fix it you need to make sure the pump is good. you can disconnect the fuel line at the motor and put the fuel line in a glass jar, turn the key to where the dash light come on and you will see if the pump is good or bad, if the fuel is filling up the jar then the pump is good, you can also do this before you change the filter.

I found out what was wrong. I didn't change the fuel filter but the problem was actually the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve and I should have known since my rpm been acting a little screwy the past few weeks. I just had the shop down the street fix it. They kind of jived me on the labor a little bit but it is what it is. Thanks a lot for the suggestions. Appreciate it the help.
