Question Suspension

I was thinking about getting Eibach springs for my 99GT. I wanted to know if anyone knows which specific Eibach Pro Kit would give me the closest thing to a factory ride. I'm looking for a spring rate close to 400-500 up front and 200-300 in the rear. I want a better look on the car but don't want a harsh ride. Does anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks guys...and gals out there...

Re: Suspension

It will be hard to retain your factory ride and lower the car at the same time. I believe ford B springs are close to the factory specs, probably the easiest thing to do is search on a few mustang aftermarket supplier sites (our sponsors have alot) and see which kit will suit you better.
The C springs are noticeably rougher than factory springs, but personally, I love the ride of them.

Thumbs up Re: Suspension

Thanks guys. I did some research and the Ford Racing Springs (B) are the closest to stock and give the car a pretty good look as well. The price is unbelievable...about $155.00 depending on where you purchase them. This link will take anyone interested to the suspension section of Ford Racing to check out the springs and pricing:

Re: Suspension

Look into H&R's... my ride is very nice, and Im slammed lol

Mainly look into progressive rate springs if you're looking for a nicer ride around town. Ford C springs are NOT progressive rate, so they'll be stiff all the time.
