Gauge needle help 1997 Cobra

I took my dash apart and didn't mark the needle location. What can I do now?

If I had a photo of the dash with the key on (not running) That would do it I have been told. Can anyone help with a photo? I have a 1997 Cobra.

Re: Gauge needle help 1997 Cobra

relax, there is a fix its not fun but its not to bad.

Get someone with an accurate speedo to drive beside you and stick on the speedo needle

You know your trans gears and your rear gear using a calculator you can figure out rpm at XX speed. Go to XX speed and put the rpm needle on where it needs to be

For gas just fill up and stick it a touch past F

For battery.. middle

For Temp... let it warm up fully then middle

For Oil Pressure... middle.

When you put the needles on put them down but not all the way, leave a little room there or the needle wont turn freely, also put down to little and it wont turn~ just keep a space between the gauge face and the needle.

I know this sucks.. but its about the only way to do it so drive down the road with the clear cover off the gauges and get a friend to ride with you to help you keep the car steady and a friend besides you to measure mph (using their cruise control and yours for that matter)
