fixed the squeek

I posted awhile ago about a squeek I had replacedthe belt, pulled the belt off again spun the pullies, ran it with out the belt on still squeeked! when the service lite came on it was time to go to a professional. turns out it was a crank angle sesor and the crankshaft position sensor. 150 bucks later runs like a champ! Now its time to play have a 3.8l intake in my buddys shop being ported and polished I think I will have the guys at Dupage auto put it on when it comes back, a man has got to know his limetations but Im learing

Re: fixed the squeek

Glad you got it fixed, its those squeaks that annoy the p*** out of a car guy. My new belt squeals the same as the old one did when I rev it high and let off fast but I'm probably the only one who notices it with an X pipe and Violator mufflers. If you ever see a white GT with pretty bad paint peel on the passenger side and a roar like all the beasts of hell set loose to rape mankind, thats me, I'm not too far from Wheaton!

Re: fixed the squeek

I have a fully functional garage, once I get my big air compressor fixed. Going to reskin and paint the inside soon so its functional year round. I have experience with the 3.8 sixer from my old 88 t-bird.
