More gauge questions...

After no luck with the stock gauges on the mustang, I decided now is the best time to upgrade. I want to just get an all new set of gauges from glowshiftdirect.com or autometer.com. I want it set up so I have accurate readings of temp/oil pressure, etc, because the stock gauges are just on/off indicators.

My question is does anyone know if I will have to disable/bypass the PATS system or if it will even work without the original console/gauges? Because without the odometer and other wires plugged in, it wont start.

Maybe I'm asking a dumb question, but I figured I would give it a shot. I haven't found any write ups or read about anyone else replacing the whole thing with aftermarket gauges, even though I've done extensive research.

Re: More gauge questions...

Kinda feel like I'm being redundant here. I found a temporary solution for now.
What do you guys think?

94-02 Ford Mustang Custom Gauge Package

This with the black face gauges. I'll purchase the speedo seperately

Called Simco today. They are back ordered 6-8 weeks at the earliest. Plus the mods will get me started on the custom interior look that I want.
