I only see the newer mustangs with 315hp running mid 13's from the factory
Just noticed that you have 3.73's and an sct tuner is that how you pulled your 14.0? Exhaust too?
Pulled 14.0 with the short throw shifter, stock tires and flowbastard 40 mufflers tacked in place in the stock piping..
3.73s and SCT (which was still set for 87 octane due to pinging issues on 91 octane.. damn CA oxygenated gas) came later, as did the plenum and TB and nitto DRs - only have 1/8th mile times with that setup (best 8.6@81 with those changes - should be equal to mid 13s, but I hadn't tried it at the full 1/4)
Now procharged with 3 core intercooler.. Curious to see how it runs now..
My previous 02 GT back in 2005 ran a best email@example.com (was disappointed that I came so close on both barriers) with short throw, diablosport and FRPP shorty headers, nothing else - stock tires, definitely good for 13s with sticky tires.. Got tboned 30 seconds from the shop after I put in some 4.10s, so never got any further with that car..
If you spent more time at the track in your car you might see some drops in times - even with mods.. I've found that shifting at 5600 lands me much better times than shifting at redline.. and of course launch plays a large part of it
