Re: tell me about the typhoon

There is another one out that is better from what I am reading. It is the...trickflow track heat.

Trick Flow Track Heat Intake Manifolds for Ford 4.6L 2V: TFS-51800002 - summitracing.com

Out of curiosity, what made you decide on a predator over say an SCT unit?

Re: tell me about the typhoon

i love my predator! a friend of mine installed his typhoon about a month ago, it is a PEICE OF *****!!! i am considering the hardballr intake from texas hot rods. otherwise there is the trickflow, p-51, bullit, and the carbureator version available from edelbrock.

Nope....was just wondering what made you choose predator over SCT...$250+ in savings is a damned good reason since they will both get the job done.

Um...what is only good for power adders? XCal2 and Predator are both good for N/A as well as power adders...and a ton more flexible than chips.

Re: tell me about the typhoon

The typhoon was GM's 'SPORT' utility vehicle of the day... 4.3 turbo, one nice vehicle, I'd take one.

Oh.. the typhoon intake.. the 5.0 one isn't the best, there are better out there, I would compare it to the GT40 intake somewhat.. However I've heard good things about them on the 4.6s
