New shocks

Ok so im about to buy either the Eibach pro damper set or the Tokico set of shocks and struts. My question is my 04 gt has the mach sound system with the subs and amp rack in the trunk. How much of a pain will it be to change my rear shocks with those in there.

Re: New shocks

Not a pain at all. All you have to do is pull the clips holding the carpet/plastic down over the wheels (in the trunk), fold the carpet out the way and I suggest using an impact to undo the bolts in the trunk.

Slide under the car and undo the two bottom bolts... reverse for install.

Re: New shocks

Do you have the Mach 1000?...with the 2 actual subs in the back. I wouldn't think that those would be in the way too much...might make for a tighter squeeze between them and the amp rack across the underside of the trunk.

Re: New shocks

Once you pull the rear carpet you'll realize just how easy they are...
