2001 GT engine

Hello, I am looking for a used engine out of a 2001 mustang GT. The engine is a X 4.6L SOHC V8. Thanks for all the help!

Re: 2001 GT engine

That was my first thought, I called a local pick-n-pull shop in STL, I asked if they had the engine, and I was told that they would not have one instantly. Im not sure what that was all about, but none the less, no luck. Thanks for the idea though!

Re: 2001 GT engine

As said check your local salvage/pull a part yards.

If no luck there you could get quotes from Prestige Mustang in Georgia or MPS Auto Salvage. They part out mustangs and usually have 2v's, 4v's and pushrod 5.0's available.

I believe prices vary based on mileage, condition and whether you have a transmission paired with it.
