Lost horsepower. Need help!

Well went to a dyno day today. Same dyno I went to last year. Well today I dynoed ( with similar conditions as last time) and the results were worse. I don't have the chart but they will be emailing me the before and after chart soon. I've managed to loose 25hp and almost 50ish tq since last time. Now the weird part. Car isn't messed up to my knowlage and afr's were only a little lean. The car had a real smooth up band but didn't really rise much from where it started to build. No I'm going to list the mods I had at the first dyno then mods I added.
Cai
Underdrive pulley
Box tune from diablo
Off-road bbk xpipe
Flomasters, the really f-ing loud ones!
3.73 gears.

Now this is what was added after that dyno.
Typhoon intake manifold
Bigger plentum
70mm throttle body
Torsion rear diff.

Now I've been told a few things, first I've been told that I made need a bigger mass air flow. I purchased a lighting mass air flow for that job, just haven't installed it yet. Then I was told by someone else I needed to install bigger injectors. And I know I need to get it tuned. So my question is do y'all have any other sugestions? I'm taking any ideas cause this is an area I'm unfamiliar with.

To see advantages from the intake/plenum/throttle body you really need a tune. I'm pretty sure your computer doesn't know what to do with the added air which is causing alot of issues.

Do you remember what your numbers where before the recent mods?

Re: Lost horsepower. Need help!

Put the lightning mass air on it and it may help before the tune. Basicly you are giving it more air now and you need to make it get more fuel and get away from it running a little lean to running a hair bit rich. You shouldnt need bigger injectors.

Re: Lost horsepower. Need help!

I've heard of people losing a lot of hp with the typhoon intake manifold on a bolt-on car. Not sure why. May just need a new tune. I certainly can't see you having to go with bigger injectors

Tune seems to be the general idea. I'll just try it and the mac and go with that.

Re: Lost horsepower. Need help!

just because a dyno says something does not in anyway mean its 100% accurate or close, its more of a tune tool than it is to tell you how much hp/tq you have. Still though if its calibrated good you should not be that far off compared to where you were.

i dont think your new mods messed it up that bad but you never know
