Rear rotors on an 02, cant get them off

Unless I'm being retarded it looks like I need a special tool to take my rear roaders off on an 02.

What the hell is a rear roader? But yeah you do need a special tool for the job. The one I used is a square that attaches to a socket. You need it to take the calipers off right?

re: Rear rotors on an 02, cant get them off

you will probably need a special tool to compress the piston in the caliper to reinstall it as it screws in instead of simply sliding as the fronts do. Other than that its two bolts to remove the factory caliper then the rotor pops right off. Some cars have OEM rotors that have never been removed, those will have little metal rings around a couple of so of the wheel studs that you simply pull off. If its rusted on tap it with a hammer to pop it off. Use correct torque specifications on re installation of the rear caliper.
