Exhuast questions

I have 3 inch magnaflows cat back, stock headers I want to put long tubes on there. But I can't find the mid pipe that matches. I have a magnaflow x pipe but without cutting the pipe it doesn't fit. Would would the recommendations be. I could go with shorty tubes which the x pipe fits or do another mid pipe the fits long tubes.

Re: Exhuast questions

Usually whoever makes the headers u buy, makes a mid-pipe to match. Depending on what type of flange comes on the long tubes, getting a muffler shop to cut and weld flanges might not be too bad. Might come out cheaper that way.

I just hate to cut a set of magnaflows to void my warranty.

I doubt if u r ever gonna need to use that warranty. If u go with shorty headers, u will just be pissed at yourself for not getting long tubes. Either way u can't use the midpipe u have. Might as well get it cut. Good luck.

True but it us always there. Might have found long tube from bbr that can fit shorty mid pipes.
