I want one. Which one would you choose? Why?

Re: 2003 Cobras

Second one seems awesome to me and it only has 24,000 miles on it, and they only want $100 more for it that the first one with more miles...

The black one is nice, and I would have to agree here, personally I couldn't have a red or a yellow car.

Couple things to think about. Do you plan on modifying it? Anniversary looks bone stock. Mods get pricey. When I was shopping, built cars went for the same $ as stocks. Saved myself about 20k in mods. Went with anniv model because I prefer the red seats over the grey suade and the car was built the way I wanted it.

Re: 2003 Cobras

the redfire, I do not like zinc yellow at all and the black one had higher miles for the price.

If I was you I would buy a sonic blue 03 cobra, spend about 23k and get one with around 15k-20k miles on it.

check on svtperformance.com as there are TONS on there.

read this, know this Terminator FAQs

I'm with you. Definitely the best color. Was afraid I would get tired of the blue but I really like it. Just a little bit of regret.

Re: 2003 Cobras

I dont really care for any of them
the first two are convertibles and ive always preferred hard tops
and yellow isn't the best color
and i think the red side stripes on the black one doesnt really belong
just my opinion
i want a cobra too, i wish they were cheaper
lol

Good advice here, svtperformance is a great site. Plenty of Terminators for sale for good prices.

Re: 2003 Cobras

Thanks for the input. I've been looking a Cobras and didn't know what I should be looking for.
Definitely want one that is stock. I don't want to be buying someone else's mistake, plus I would want to do some autocross with it and it has to be pretty much stock for that.
Also you got to have the convertible.
I like the black one, and the 40th anniversary trim looks good in person. But my wife said since I already have a Mustang that when we get a Cobra it will be hers and she likes the red one.

Re: 2003 Cobras

The 10th anniversary interior is what made me buy mine. The only other one I was considering was sonic blue.

Re: 2003 Cobras

Out of those cars, the 2nd one is the better deal.

Rare color (parchment on redfire clearcoat), basic mods (upper pulley, cai, exhaust), low miles (under 30k).

I'm partial to sonic blue cars...and convertibles at that. But I guess that kinda shows.

I'd find out exactly what you're looking for and go from that point. A convertible is definitely not the best for any sort of racing, but they are alot more fun the rest of the time. I bought mine stock and have spent a ton of money just to make it worth no more money...if you're wanting one to mod, buy it with good solid mods and go from there.

Re: 2003 Cobras

autox'ing a terminator can have issues as they are known to get to hot on the back cylinders, you would have to do the cooling mod and beef up the cooling before I would track it.
