Any one know a good place to get my computer reflashed for a descent price.

It reflashes the ecu for whatever octane tune you want...what exactly is the problem your having with the car right now..

It sat there for a while. And now it won't start and I had someone come take a look and they said my computer needed to be reflashed. He said that happens when a car sits that long without being fired up

It would have to sit for 10 years without a battery before the ecm loses memory, If you turn you ignition on and you get a check engine light then it still has its memory and your problem is most likely somewhere else. Either that or you need a new ecm wich I would get at a junk yard.

Yeah I was thinking about just buying a used one at a junk yard. I think that's my best bet. Preciate the help.

Also another thing it could be is the anti-theft not letting it start. That would need a dealer or a garage with a computer to figure out.

Ford can possibly do it on your year car~ probably will cost 50-200 bucks~ depending. You can buy a new ECU from a junk yard, just make sure the numbers match, not sure if auto/manual matters?

Well I'm trying to decide if to just buy the computer or take it in to lone star ford.
